the course i am very interested in studying went from 91 last year to 85 this year!
that is quite a considerable drop, and i read in the newspaper the reason for this may be because the government has made more poisitions available.
is it likely that the 85 for this year will shoot back up to 91 for next years entries?
i understand that no-one can really positively know the answer, but just for an idea
-the course is a forensic science one- and obviously that will attract peoples attention...
any comments would be appreciated. thank you. xox.

Possibly, there are also reasons because not many students do the course hence the not so high UAI, but university is this?

UAI is determined by supply and demand for courses. So either more places were made available, or not many people wanted to do Forensics. It's almost impossible to predict which way cut-offs will go year after year, so just try your best and aim high to give yourself the best possible chance. :)
