hope to get into med, at a good uni... so that atleast 95 im guessing....
i know syd undergrad is 99.95 so thats probably not even an option [for me] but i'd be happy with any uni as long as i get into a med course...
That's what I'm hoping for too.
I thought the combined degree of Bmusic+BMed seemed great at Usyd. If only they take more then 2 people with UAIs less then 99.98, it would be easier to dream.:(

Re: What UAI are you aiming for?

Thanks for clearing that up. I genuinely did not know that (shows my lack of knowledge relating to that beloved UAI).
I'm going to assume that when the person told me, they meant 99.8 - does that sound more correct?
Still ridiculously high though.

Yeah, 99.8 UAI sounds more right than 99.98, as they calculate the UAI in increments of 0.05.

Re: What UAI are you aiming for?

I'm going for an 85-90 [based on what I think is reasonably good for me, rather than saying I'd like a 100 even if it's totally out of reach for pretty much everyone].

No idea about a uni course, or if I ever want to do one, some I'm just trying to do well enough in school to keep doors open and I'll be doing a gap year next year which will hopefully give me time to think.

Re: What UAI are you aiming for?

I'm aiming for the high 90s, around 97+ because of the uni courses I want to get into.
I guess I'd be relatively satisfied with 95+ though.

what course in uni are you aiming for? I think you should always aim high because you could change your mind later on in the future.
