as in don't click every ad on every page.

of course google wont release how they calculate what genuine clicks are.

EDIT:
Besides if the companies don't make any money they wont advertise.

Yes it does. These ads help pay for the server.

It's just a self-satiric play on the way Google does things: memetic marketting, pseudo refusal to commit to projects, et cetera. And I love them for it.
