after the prerequsite was gone for usyd, my friends and i had a whole discussion. We think its reasonable to remove it as its not like they removed for all the courses. BUT NOW we are scared. Since, the prerequiste is gone, doesn't that mean lot of people will choose those degrees for 2025? for 2024 highschool graduates? Doesn't that mean the courses atar guaranteed atar will be much higher? or would that apply for 2026 uni students as they don't know how many people will apply for that course in 2024?

i could be super wrong but assuming from this photo and how it has brackets (from 2025) but the table says NSW HSC 2024, I would assume that this is being put in place for class of '25
