I am seeing this guy every day at the bus stop to get the same bus.
I liked him since january last year and i still like him.
But i dnt know if its okay for me to ask him out........
I am just scared that if he says no and...how embarrassing would it be?!!
I wouldnt really care if he says no but the embarrassment!!

is it okay if a girl asks a guy out?

Or...should i just wait until our formal comes up....:(

I am korean (i lived half of my life in AUS) and he is australian...

Go talk to him first.

Don't just plain ask him out, that's weird.

be casual about it. for example ask him if he wants to hang out some time its cool with u and set it up so the ball is in his court. so that way you will find out if hes interested or not, without it being a straight out rejection.

Have you actually talked to him? Because "hey, random fellow bus commuter, want to go out sometime?" if all you guys do is sit at the bus shelter together is a little weird.

So if you haven't talked to him yet, start there. Just ask for the time or comment on something around you and you should be able to get something of a conversation going.

If you're already acquainted do what pace_t said. Don't worry about being rejected, if you get that embarrassed just catch another bus, problem solved

If you could not have asked him out for more than a year, you will never be able to ask him out. Besides, how do you like somebody when you don't even know him? Do you even know whether he has a girlfriend or not?

If I were you, I would try to know more about him and courageously ask him out someday.

Girl asking a boy out is not a problem but don't try to look desperate.

GOOD LUCK!!!

If he sneezes, say bless you, then start a conversation from there.
Perfect conversation starter:lol:

wow
u like a total stranger. lol; ur not even sure if he's a weirdo. =p.

btw what do u mean wait till formal? does he go to the same school as u? =s

i'll re-iterize what other ppl have said; dont flat out ask him to be ur bf.
just ask him whether he wants to have coffee or lunch together or whatever.
something that lets u talk to each other. movies are a no no.

i assumed since you're korean you'd live in strathfield.
That's interesting deduction! However, Koreans also tend to be concentrated in Chatswood, Hornsby, Silverwater, Lidcombe and probably anywhere you go.
