If I had to completed 80 units to finish a course and I had 3 semesters to do it, and each unit is 10pts (meaning that there is 8 units). Could I just do 4 units a semester and complete my course in 2 semester? Or do I have to do
1st semester: 2 units
2nd: 3 units
3rd: 3 units
to complete 80 units?

You can overload to finish your course earlier but if you fail you'll have to do it again anyways.

if a standard semester is 4 units, which it usually is, there's no reason not to?

but then it might also depend on timetable clashes and whether certain compulsory units run in semester 1 or 2

Hi, Most courses have two sessions per year at UWS; Autumn session and Spring session. Full time students usually study four units per semester, equalling to eight units per year. You can however opt to do less per semester, if your course allows for a reduced study load. For more information, please contact the Course Information Line on 1300 897 669 or study@uws.edu.au. Best regards, UWS Course Info
