How does school rank affect scale? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys i'm new here, and i hope it's the right place to post this.

My school ranks around 150. It's a senior school with about 460 people in my year. (not whole school) The number of all rounders or top acheivers is probabaly as many as top 30 schools. But looking at the percentage of success and average mark it's not good.

So i just wonder how does school rank affect scale? Do they look for the average mark for different subjects?

School rank from last year will have no bearing on results from this year.

Aligning, scaling etc are all done afresh each year based on individual marks not school ranks from earlier years.

After all the marks have been determined this year a new set of school ranks will be able to be determined.
