Any comments or answers welcome! What is involved with economics and just how hard is it as a subject?

Best subject ever.

Not really hard, jsut a lot of content and the fact that lots of factors affect others.

I say;
Yr 11 course is very dry, theoretical and boring
The essays are hard to do
Lots of content

It's a love or hate subject. Rarely are people neutral about it.

Economics is not hard, you just have to know the 'theory' to it.
It's becomes much more easier once you remember what most of the terms mean.

It was difficult to start with, after a while it gets better.
make sure you learn the basics and don't slack off otherwise something else won't make sence.
Everybody has their moment of understanding when everything comes together.

if you learn the theory and remorise the definitions, the only difficult bit should be the concepts, which you will get your head around eventually.

I must also add though, I decided to drop it two thirds of the way through Yr 11 and still ended up with good results. I just knew I couldn;t do that in Yr 12. You just need to have a memory for content.

Any subject is hard to do super well in, and also hardness varies on your skill set. If you do really well in humanities subjects, it won't be "hard" for you.

Economics can be a really hard subject due to the immense content. I found year 12 to be way more different and harder than year 11. Prelim is more theoretical whilst year 12 is application to the real world with a focus on Australia.
