Nahh, definitely not a girls subject, and if anything, the subject should have taught us the value of a differing opinion, whether it be culturally, or gender based.

My class whent for having 25 in year 11, to 12 at the beginning of the HSC/
We now have a close nit group of 7 girls.

At my old school the year 11 class has three boys out of 25 odd students, the year 12 class has one out of about 8. At my school this year there are no boys in the year 12 class and only 3 in my year 11 class but in all honesty, i think they're all dropping the subject.

Most people in my class aren't a good example though, today no one knew what the teacher meant when he said 'savy' and he wasn't even talking about the assignment by this stage, it's ridiculous.

I've never known many boys to love the subject, too much writing for alot of them. Perhaps my school's just lazy, i know my old school had a lot more motivation in the subject.

At my old school I was the only guy, and at my current school there are six of us. Many people think that it's a girl's subject, simply because Chemistry is on the same line. Ergo, all the other guys did Chem. But I don't care; I love S&C.

I think ur on to something. I often find myself the only boy in my class, having discussions about PIP topics such as the sexualisation of children and gossip and it gives me the shits.
I think alot of it may be down to the perceptions of the two sexes. Men see it as a subject they can bludge in, girls see it as something interesting because there isnt a huge inbalance in my class, its just that many of the guys dont bother turning up. The main reason for me doing the topic was that I didnt want to do maths

We had a fairly balanced class in year 11 but now in year 12 there's only two guys.

The next door school you are referring to is probably SPX and my school (SPX) does not provide it whereas Mercy does. Hahahahaha...may sound far-fetched but that's my guess.
