how to convert GPA (1 Viewer)

hey guys i need help on converting my usyd credits into GPA, i tried look at the usyd website it gave me a stupid page long formula to calculate gpa, is there any simplified version so i can use to work out my gpa efficiently?

Depends on what GPA scale you're trying to convert it to. The 7 or 4 system.

If 7, then - HDs count as 7, Ds count as 6, Cs count as 5, Ps count as 4, Concededs count as 3...and I'm not too sure beyond that. Then divide by number of subjects.

To be honest, the USyd website does it really well - I don't know what's so complicated about it.

thank you Aerath, i think i need to convert it into the 4 system,the rules on the usyd website isn't easy at all :(

Well, on the US system, HD is a 4, D is a 3, C is a 2, and a P is a 1.

Fails and CPs are 0

hey what if my transcript contains units from oversea? (exchange studies) do i look at the original marks from my exchange uni or the marks that my home uni gave me?
I'm not too sure. Best guess would be the marks given here at home.

But you know - why not actually call the university and actually -get- proper advice, as opposed to second hand? :p
