How would you rank the Allied Health and Medical Hierarchy?
first is probably specialists and surgeons
obviously the medical doctors and dentists are on their own level up there
then pharmacists in their own league
in the bottom line of medicine is nurses
underneath the pharmacists are allied health

probably physios, podiatrists and optometrists at the top but podiatrist the top of allied health as they are closest to doctors and can call themselves doctors and prescribe meds

then maybe the rest ie. speech thereapists, OTs etc who are in the bottom
do you not agree?

Believe me, if you went blind, you wouldn't be saying the same thing about optometrists. I agree with Fresh on this.
