It said deduce f(x) is increasing for all x so doesn't that mean e^x/(1+e^x)>0 (must be the case as it is increasing)

That just means it's increasing from 0. Whilst that's true (I think) you can't just assume that.

The purpose of the Maths forum is to post questions within the HSC so others can help you. A single thread which is intended to serve the same function is therefore not necessary.
