Right. So, pretending to be from the 19th century, hey?

I don't know how common this assessment is between the schools - seen whispers in other posts about having to pretend to be a character from one of the texts - but for us, it's something along the lines of showing conflict between an individual and their society in 19th century, and <i>not</i> a character from the book.

Which doesn't sound too hard when you put it like that, but the specifics aren't quite so easy.

If anybody else is doing this, do you have more of a sense of direction?
The history books aren't giving much room for the creative creation of an individual. Where's a good place to start?

From the book? which text are you doing...i just think the teachers mainly want to see us apply the information we know about the book )eg specific details such as events, how they talk, how they act etc)
However, it would basically be the same as writing any other creative in the 19th Century, just making sure your character is remotely similiar to say eg Margaret.
