I find with the extra units, I felt like I didn't try as hard as I should have 'cause I thought "hey some of this shit's not going to count..."

Maybe if I did 10 units I'd be more stressed and anal about it. :p

13 units with me. Gave up on chem half-way through the year though, but still used them to bludge or do other work.

Haha, nah I didnt get 99+. I got above 95 though and into my course so I did enough

Ive got a friend that also did 15 units and he had your mentality. I saw the extra 5 units as more opportunities to succeed, an extra few bites at the cherry.

the only subject I really didnt care for was SoR (catholic school, forced to do it) because I didnt enjoy and and I knew it had no chance of counting. I didnt study for it at all (had an ancient exam on the same day which took priority) and still got 42/50.

but for the other subjects, i tried as any of them could have counted

did you accelerate a few subjects in yr11?
i find it hard how your school is able to manage to fit so many subjects in school hours unless you had to attend morning and afternoon classes everyday.
doing assignments + exams must've been painful for you unless your those naturally gifted kids who has excellent time management skills.
