inbox full?? (1 Viewer)

okay, this might sound alittle bit weird, but i've only got about 4 or 5 messages in my pm inbox thingy, and people cant send me more pm's

which is a bit strange... but when i logg onto bos, underneath the private msgs section, it says

"tooheyz - You have 0 new message(s) since your last visit.
(You have 0 unread messages and 97 total messages in all your folders.)"

but when i look at my folders and my inbox - theres nothing there! i've selected 'view messages since the beginning' and changed it to other options, but still no messages...

whats going on?

i figured it out.. i was keeping all my sent mesages

When you reply it quotes the message, so you can actually delete messages sent to you after you've replied with the quote.

huh? i don't get the last part. you can delete messages sent to you after you've replied with the quote. so what if you reply without the quote, or don't reply?

If you don't reply with a quote, and want a record you can't delete it. If you don't reply, then you have to keep it, if you want a record.

oh ok i get it, becaause if you reply with a quote it will be saved in the sent folder anyway

you can untick the box 'save a copy' if you dont want to have to delete ur sent items again

yeah i dont notice them either. i always say i am not getting the most out of this sitye because i don't know how to use it properly
