hey pplz,

ive got a maths test on wednesday and i am literally dying...
im trying to study but im soOooOo lazy. however, i have studied for simpson's rule for the approximation methods and im getting every alternative question correct.

could someone explain simpson's rule? ~ ive read 2 textbooks and im still getting every alternative question incorrect...im pissed off and frustrated, since eveyone else can do it and i can't.

btw...same with maxima and minima ...

If its equal to zero it tells you nothing!

Exactly if it is equal to 0 you test points either side to get the concavity eg &plusmn;x<sup>4</sup>+c has f''(x)=0 at x=0 however whether it is a maximum or minimum changes on if it is plus or minus.
