How does it work?
I know what most of you know, and that is "it has something to do with combining the signals of separated radiotelescopes to create interference patterns which, upon analysis, allows us to synthesise a better resolution" blah blah
Text books which give explanations like that piss me off. They don't answer the question. Can some1 enlighten me?
