Hi.

I am looking to transfer from USyd Law (LLB/Arts (Media & Communications)) to the VetBiol/DVM course at USyd. It's now an internal transfer process. On the 1st of October, they said they received along with the required documentation and that they don’t need my second semester results and that I would be advised once my application has been assessed. Do you think they'll take this semester's results into consideration because they haven't yet replied with my outcome? I'm worried because my WAM is like 77 now but I think I am not doing so well this semester. Also, does anyone know how long internal transfers generally take? When can I expect to get my offer/rejection? Finally, has anyone here transferred from another degree in Veterinary Science? Please tell me what your experience was like if you did.

Thanks! :)

Your WAM is probably border line.
Have you got lots of animal and veterinary experience?
If you are really committed to vet then worth applying at some of the other unis.
Lots of people in the vet degree come from other degrees these days.
