Edit->Preferences->Ipod tab

(Make sure your ipod is connected)

Change the 'auto update..' option to manual :)

the auto thingy is a bitch, but i got to the manual thingy, its a lot better.

how podcast? i dont see the point in it..

Never really had problems with auto. I never add new songs to Itunes except when I buy a cd, and don't use it to play music, so not a real issue.

Podcasting is innovative so you can listen to recorded radio shows from Podcasters, whenever/wherever you want. Rather than having to listen to the radio at 7.30 every morning, you can choose shows to listen to at any time.
