hey,
is anyone doing ireland for their world conflict module?
im not but i love ireland and was wondering what people thought of the course.

does it involve bloody sunday? we had the option to study that in te prelims but we did meiji japan instead...

I'm doing it-- haven't started properly yet, though I've got a pound of reading to get through. I was really pleased that we got to do Ireland-- I think its far more interesting than some of the other choices (pardon my ignorance!).

Of course, the fact that it's so rarely done does put a dampener on things resource-wise.

^^^ hehe you could probably suss out ur teacher and put in a request. thats what my frienz do and if the teacher doesnt have it plannhed you may just get to do it.

I did the Cold War, it was interesting and I enjoyed it. But I wish I'd done Ireland now.
