Your other subjects generally scale well, so if you're capable of getting good results in these it will be quite possible for you to get 95 +. Of course, you should try to do very well in standard english too for optimum results. :)

Yep.

My school actually came first in the state for standard English last year, and being such a mathematical/sciency school, a lot of people were able to get 95+ for the UAI. One, because they got really good in standard English (we're talking 80+, top 2% of state) and because their maths (ext 1, ext 2) got them over the 98 barrier.

So definitely - if you do well in those high scalers you have, then 95+ is very possible.

No it wont kill your UAI......
A articulate person in language can overturn a situation better than a person who can integrate and defferentiate:)

definitely, hell you can get 99+ UAI doing std english, gen maths, textiles and other low scaling subjects, its just that its more difficult to do, but not mission impossible

have you tried the UAC site?

UAC has this section that will show you the maximum UAI you can get with every subject in the statistics section somewhere

yep yep thats the article i was talking about

i suppose it does give some indication, but then and again, if u do good in standard english and all your other subjects, there is no reason why you cant get above 95
