I just wondering if anyone attended those Learning Skills Workshops - Essay Writing, Refrencing etc. I just wanted ask if it worth going to those workshops. because i was thinking of attending to the essay writing workshop.

from what i heard, its like really basic stuff and completly pointless

Its just there to 'refresh' your skills

I guess it won't hurt to go a few hours... But I seem to have forgotten to print out the confirmation of registration page.. Does anyone know if it matters that I dont have it?

Nope it does not matter, last year they did not check them.

I did the essay writing one. Its really good, gets you back into the swing of studying and gives you an idea of how fast uni actually is.
