if you do a class search for ACCT1501 (for example), you get a list of all the times which you can choose to attend that lecture. however, some streams seem to have two contact hours a week, while others have only one... whats going on? this happens for two more of my subjects as well..

im confused!

i think - when there's only one, there's another lecture to make up for it. so you go twice.
whereas the ones that are 2 hrs long you go once - hit it all in one go.

Yeah I agree with sunny - best bet is to check the "actual" timetable in the link he's posted up - then from that, deduce which time you should enrol in

MATH1151 Lectures
Monday 11am ALG
Tuesday 9am CALC
Wednesday 9am ALG
Thursday 11am CALC
MATH1151 Tutorials
Monday 4pm CALC
Tuesday 4pm CALC
(ie. just one of the above)
Wednesday 10am ALG
Thursday 10am (I THINK) ALG
(ie. just one of the above)

That's what it was Session 1 2003. I doubt it would change.
