so my first assessment task is a research task essay response on the fairness and effectiveness of Barry O'Farrell's law reform regarding one punch assault in relation to intoxication but im having difficulty picking out the issues involved with the reform... all ive got so far is the issue with equality as the consequences for this offence only apply when the assault occurs in a public space meaning the same offence in a domestic situation wont result in the same mandatory 8 year minimum sentence. But thats the only issue ive been able to pick out of this :/
