i was checking out a creative sample from tsfx website. Can anyone explain to me the meaning of this line in bold-
Through all this time, Jason could not shake the feeling of somehow knowing him; he
seemed so familiar, from uni maybe? He hadn’t really got to know many people when he
started there, he was always either trying to catch up on his work or go out clubbing for
stress relief. Either way, he avoided the hassle of trying to make friends with strangers. He
knew his lifestyle wouldn’t appeal to others too. His strict upbringing left him with a constant
need to rebel; he smoked rebellion, drank rebellion and took rebellion home if he was lucky
enough. Despite feeling like he knew the man, Jason didn’t call out to him. He knew the guy
wouldn’t hear him, maybe because he was totally smashed or for the same strange reason
Jason could not walk in the opposite direction.
