do u suffer from sore eyes, blown up blood vessels, itchy eyelids, teary eyes or any other form of post radiation discomfort?

ok, basically i've got few eye problems wen it comes to long periods of monitor viewing, any suggestions on how to combat them?
is it true LCDs release less radiation than CRTs? coz they seem to hav the effect on me, lol

I suggest take breaks and buying a monitor filter. LCDs release almost no radiation.

I don't know the details, but I would imagine the filter glass is coated with some sort of conductive and transparent material that can absorb the radiation for release to earth - hence the wire hanging out with the alligator clip on the end you might see on some filters.

Yes I "used" to use those monitor filters, until I bought a a new monitor.

I think those filters do help quite a bit as I still don't need glasses, but when I stopped using the filter I can feel my eyes are slowly deteriorating....

I'm probably going to get a LCD monitor soon though...

don't worry about monitor radiaton, unless you own a pre-1999 monitor.

the sore eyes aren't from the radiation lol.

LCDs release ~0 ratiation.

SSSHH!

I'm trying to blame my sore eyes on the radiation instead of the 12 hour computer usage sessions i have sometimes :)
