I'm sure you have come across the gay SP2 popup after trying to open a recieved file from msn "This is potentially harmful" bla bla, all you can press is OK, then the file is just automatically deleted.

I disabled windows security center in services, that did jack shit.
The thing is, i only had the pop ups coming in just after installed windows media player 10, i've been on xp-sp2 for a few weeks now and i never had the popup before, but i installed mp10... got a file from a mate,.. and yeah

I always thought you disabled it with something like messpatch.
I can't find it in my three second scan of MSN options.

yup you can only get rid of it by patching it out.

Try mess patch or A-patch.


Its built into MSN by MS to stop the spread of viruses (but that only made them link based lol)
