Can someone help me to plan an essay structure for this economics question
Analyse the trends and causes in economic growth in the Australian Economy in recent years.

when an essay says recent years, some markers expect past 15 years whilst others past 10 years. Lets assume past 15 years.
there's many ways to plan it out. i would go with a timeline structure:
Intro
- define eco growth
- answer the question (outline what are actually the trends over the years)
- recent context (what has EG been recently (stats) in Australia and additionally u can also give scope for Australia's future EG)
Body 1: Mining investment boom (post GFC from 2010 - 2012)
- high eco growth driven by rising commodity prices
- rising national income levels
- high eco growth
- mention k multiplier and how increased exports and consumption in the eco had a multiplied effect
Body 2: Post MIB (2013 - 2019)
- EG stabilised due to a downturn in global EG
- Aus transitioned from a mining to a more service focused eco
Body 3: COVID
- low global eco growth
- Aus entered recession (-7% June 2020 quarter)
- mention policies used to stimulate eco growth
Body 4: Post-COVID
- high eco growth in 2021/2022
- stabilising recently
- forecasted to slowdown
Obviously this is a very generalised plan and since it 'analyse' u need to draw out further implications for the points that u make in ur essay. Hope this helps, ask any more questions if needed
