Last year I used the clickable Pilot Super Grip (fine). It was good, but I get too distracted by clicking pens, as I tend to click them over and over and over and over and not pay attention to anything else around me and eventually ruin the spring in the pen. Woe.

So I'm going for a pen-with-a-lid this year. Not sure which one, though.

Try looking around for one, and see if you could test them out :)

You know what I hate? When you buy a pen, you open up the packet but *drum roll please* it doesn't work!

so annoying
or when, you open a pen, and it's colour is so light. You have to continuously scribble on a page to get it working

Did you steal it from the person next to you in class? =P jks

For my prelim year I used and will be using these clickable pens i get from woolies called Zerba Tapliclip lol.

Can't remember using Bic pens anymore...
gel pen or Parker, i was very picky with my pen selection and i tried more than 20 brands of pen. at the end i found gel pen and parker don't leak and write the fastest.

I've been using gel pens regularly lately and the ink hasn't smudged once.
What brand are you using?

The one I'm using has great colour, feel and longevity but it smudges. Yours might be a better one.

Same. Kilometrico is rather good. :)

Plus I'm a cheapo when it comes to pens. Some of the more expensive ones are pwned by Kilometrico and other, cheaper pens.

Kilometricos are good, just don't know where to find them, lol. I often mistakenly take them off other people, lol

No to computer games. :)

And Kilometrico's are really easy to find! Just go to Woolies or Coles or Kmart or Target or well, anywhere that has stationery. You can get 10 for like $1.50 because they've got the back to school sales. Man I love those sales...except Officeworks doesn't have the 1c books anymore :(.

Ahhh, the old back to school sales. I always get sucked into buying a tonne of pens, pencils, folders, paper, paper clips, staples, white out, books and plastics sleaves. More than I need really. :)

Is it recommended to still use exercise books for Year 11?

:\ Well what else are you going to write on?

I bought those lecture books with the sleeve in the front for my subjects. :) 'Cause there's a place to put my worksheets and stuff.

They're not as cheap though. But those spiral-bound notebooks just seduce me, yes, stationery is indeed sexy.
