2. e) Comment on the answer to count for each of the variables.

Is this just 60 and 59. That seems weird. Like it seems like a pretty stupid question.

2e - it says "comment" so you can say that due to the nonnumerical value of *, the count is one lower for the second variable.

how do i make my box and whisker plots horizontal instead of vertical?
I don't think you can, if by horizontal you mean vertical? The default is horizontal. I really don't know what they mean by the side-by-side question. I can't see any options to make them side by side. Whether theyre vertical or horizontal.

There were a couple of bad questions in there, but then again how crazy can they go with the marking? It's only a 5% (4% if you dont count the extra mark you get for just handing it in completed) assignment.

Question 4 was kind of confusing, especially considering i interpreted the coefficient of variation as correlation at the beginning and based my answer around that.

Oh and when someone finishes, if you want to discuss which answers you got, then let me know or add me to msn: stas_M_@hotmail.com

Better to be safe then sorry

coefficient of correlation and coefficient of variation are completely different things.

if you need clarification just asked.

my earlier question was referring to the shape of my box and whisker plot diagrams.

i want my values along the x-axis like it is in the book. not along the veritcal axis which seems to be the default. i doubt it matters though.
oh and "side-by-side" means "multiple"
