No. About 2% get Band 6 in English and that's like 100 people.

Besides ESL is an extremely easy subject, how can only 1 or 2 people get Band 6?

Well, if it's per school then why can't it? There are like more than 600 schools and 100 band 6 students. It's extremely unlikely a school is gonna get 2 band 6 students!

Don't bother tho. As long as you do well, who cares if only 10 or 20 people get band 6 in the state?

only 50 people is going to get band 6 in the whole state I'm pretty sure on that. becoz the total candidature for esl is 2000 something and only 2.xx% is going to get band 6. that coresponds 40 to 50 people.

while its an easy subject it is not easy to get band 6.. i go to a school which is ranked 40 last year and we got like 2-4 band 6 each year in the subject o_o

do u know why? becoz BOS hates us... LOL

Yes, it could be easy but you gotta remember that we're all ranked so if you find it easy then of course other people will find it easy, which makes it harder to get a band 6 since you have to beat other people in rankings.
