When you guys applied through myUNSW, did you see an option to pick Electrical engineering or Photonic engineering?

or do i just pick electives once im in the degree?

because im doing the combined degree with biomedical and i couldnt see photonics/biomed


ffs, a friend of mine doing engineering/commerce saw "photonics" and "electrical" in the screen just after he applied

UAC AND THAT UNSW ENGINEERING BOOKLET SAID I COULD DO PHOTONICS/BIOMED

For the course with UAC code 425008 you get to choose the program code & the plan code which correspond to photonic engineering after you accept the offer. As for a single degree EE is plan ELECA3640.

From memory, there should be a drop-menu?!? which allows you to choose photonics/biomed.

yeah i couldn't see that, meh i called up and the lady said because both courses are fairly new etc or some crap

she said i can pick the right electives etc to do photonics
thats all i care ^_^
