I'd agree with you ashiebear except its too broad, with them being famous and stuff. You need to kind of narrow it down, Shagz. Are you going to interview within a certain age group? Are specifically going to look at how girls are more affected than boys, see if they're treated equally if they're twins? are you going to look at if a girl twin is treated harshly than her twin brother because of the genders? These are just some of the stuff i came up with off the top of my head. Maybe you can PM Survivor for more help. :)

Hi!

Your topic seems quite interesting but I imagine it may be difficult to find sets of twins. However I have had an idea that may be of use to you.

The Australian Multiple birth association- http://www.amba.org.au/

This organisation is like a support group for twin and triplets etc. I am sure if you contact them and explain the PIP, that they would most probably find you and lead you into the right direction.

I also came accross http://www.twinsandmultiples.org/ based in Australia

and http://www.twins.org.au

These sites have link to local support clubs and other resources that may help you for your Pip

Anyway, hope this helps you in some way.

k thanks everyone for the ideas. i sort of wanted to do a range of ages and both genders to see any trends- i know a couple of sets in my town but i wanted some 'outsiders' opinions to see if the responses i gained were affected by our small own environment.
i think that to include a set of twins focused in the media would be a good idea ashiebear because it would give another cross cultural perspective, as a comparison to twins not in the media. now ive got several cross cultural components!!! argh!! (lol)
thanks again everyone! if anyone has anymore ideas, that would be really great!
:)

hey im a fraternal twin and thinking to do my PIP on twins too, but im really confused at what to look at too. I was thinking the socialisation process of twins, but i thought that might be hard to survey etc. because i dont know many sets of twins. I guess mine is kinda similar to yours about peers but im looking at family too.
