Hey y'all!

I know tis is probably stupid to ask, but can anyone give clear definitions of:

• validity
• reliability, and
• accuracy.

Also how to improve these within experiments?

Thanks!

Reliability is if you can repeat the experiment multiple times and gain similar or identical quantitative results or identical qualitative results

Validity is, if the method is correct, state improvements for that experiment.
e.g. can you tell me how much you weigh in cm? - not a valid experiment

Accuracy is if your result is the same as the written result on paper
e.g. if by working it out, you're supposed to get 2.5units for an experiment of sometime but you get 6 units, then it's not accurate
