this might sound silly, but i have no idea..

when there are notes in a text and they're named at the back of the book (with numbers and whatever), if it says 'ibid.', what does that mean? i've been trying to work it out for ages, and i just can't. sometimes it'll say 'ibid, 22' (or some other number) but sometimes there's no number.

please help

Yeah Ibid just means that it was written/quoted from the hisotrian listed before...
dont worry - its not a stupid question - you could do what i did for half of year 11 and quote ibid as a historian... funny thing was no one picked up on it for a while. :)
