I am wondering what the obligations are for school's to give you subject rankings.
Our school has finished all assessments, at least in the subjects I want rankings for, and I really need to get hold of them so I can put on forms for scholarships etc.

Is there any official board of studies directive issued?

Cheers

They are free to tell you ranks, just not raw assessment marks. Your rank will probably be on your final report.

Just tell them you really need them for scholarship applications. At our school they tell us so that we can make sure they are correct!

The same issue was discussed in this thread.

21. Assessment ranking appeals

(i) After the last HSC examination at your centre, you may request from your principal a sheet showing your rank order for assessment in each course. If you feel that your placement in any course is not correct, you should talk to your teacher and you may apply to your principal for a review/appeal.

If they did release those ranks and you made an appeal, the Board of studies will know that your school released those rankings when they are not supposed to and will be in some trouble...
