Yes, I haven't been here in a while. I'm here because I've been suckered in by a clever pyramid scheme. I've been playing Rift, a new MMO, and the bastards are offering a free mount to people who can get three friends to buy the game. The game itself is fairly good. It's not as deep as some MMOs I've played like Everquest 2, but that can mostly be attributed to its age. I do think it's better than WoW by leaps and bounds, and is similar enough not to present too much of a learning curve.
