Planck is advocating the exact opposite you fuck. We should not waste our money on inefficient armed forces defending our "borders." If people want protection they should be able to buy guns instead of wasting it on extra taxes.

K so nobody is protesting/getting shot in Iran against the Ayatollah, there is no sectarian violence in Iraq, there is no war in north-east Pakistan, there is no war in Afghanistan, no moronic Palestinians launch rockets at Israel during a cease fire to drive food into the West Bank, and no one tried to blow up a Delta airlines flight in Detroit on Christmas Day?

And these are things that happen in our time and in world history. Surprise surprise, accusing fingers all point to the Middle East. There will always be problems, but army boy over here makes it seem as if a person is prone to being blown up by a landmine with every step they take. Plus, like somebody mentioned earlier, it's only chaotic because of Western government and military getting their noses into everything and trying to look like the world's police force.

Pretty sure the nationalism was always there in Britain but has only recently come to the surface like in Australia.

This isn't a rise of nationalism at all. If it were, then they'd be itching to restart the Troubles and campaigning to pull Britain out of the EU.
This is just xenophobia.

But yeah, I agree with Hannan. To the extent that governments exist their jurisdiction should be as small as possible.
