Calling all artists, art groups or anyone with a bit of creative flair!

We need YOU to rack your creative brains and come up with a concept to design and build a life-sized robot sculpture piece to be on display for one week in Sydney. You can use any materials you like, as long as they are weatherproof! Get creative with your choice of materials.

The best 30 design concept submissions will be chosen to be built and put on display from 6-11 September 2010 in the streets of the Sydney CBD, among the hustle and bustle, sure to attract a lot of attention among tourists and Sydney citizens alike. This is a brilliant opportunity for artists and creative individuals to have their work on display in a VERY public domain and get their name out there!

Not only this, but from the robots that are chosen to be displayed in Sydney, the public will then be able to cast their vote to decide which is their favourite robot, and if your robot receives the most votes you will WIN $1,000 and a trip to Sydney to see your robot on display and to receive your prize at the official robot closing party. Enter as a team or an individual, up to you, but remember the prize must be split between you! Be imaginative and original, and have a look at the Artists Pack below to find out everything you need to know about building your robot and to see some examples to spark your imagination.

Start by submitting your concept only through the online submission form.
