can someone give a tip on how to actually start the thing? im really confused but im sure if i get started on the right track i should be OK.

First and foremost, you have to know what you are doing to start it...it took me ages to figure out what to do in the beginning, but once u start, it gets easier. Read the textbook and follow the examples

Anyway, firstly, look at all those cheque butts etc and update the relevant journals..always do this in DATE ORDER! rip out/photocopy the pages of cheque butts/invoice etc etc if that helps - thats the longest part of the practice set

like filling out all the journals and inventory cards...

photocopy doesn't cost much anywayz time is money

Crapp.. i'm only up to Q2 of SSS and my tut is on Monday. I can't access the answers on webct cause my acrobat is playing up (what a time to stuff up) @#$% ! How long does it take to complete the whole practise set ? A friend of mine said 20hours so does that mean i won't sleep till Monday morning ?

It takes ages dude

I did all of my practice set in pencil (to rub out mistakes), then to be told that it had to be handed in in pen. So the night before, it took me FIVE HOURS to go over the whole thing in pen - thats just going over the work ive already done

I got 19/20 all by myself! (we never got solutions)

yes but for us the actual practice set doesn't get a mark....

we have to do a quiz which is worth 20%
