I did terrible on that exam as well (my second worst subject ever) so I know dat feel :(.

Just make a comeback with 1911 like I did and it'll even out.
1911 is my favourite subject yay :) Though iirc, you smashed it with a 93(you gun), which I wouldn't do, but it'll still be my best subject haha. (It's nice the final's only worth 38%, and I did pretty well on all the quizzes and lab stuff)

I think CHEM1901 will have to be my worst UoS for the duration of uni. Never again.

In law they do - because they are required to pass the course (there are two 0 credit point Legal Research units that students are required to do - but its just pass/fail - so it appears on transcript as 'satisfied requirements'). At least in law. Might depend on what the subject is/whether it is a requirement for the degree or not.

yeah, ~44% fail MBLG1X01 and ~45% fail CHEM1X01. lol
I don't think that one is true - I'd say it's more around ~6%.

In 2011, 215 passed the CHEM1901 exam out of 219 students - that's like ~2% failure rate.
In 2012, 243 passed the CHEM1901 exam out of 246 students - that's like ~2% failure rate.

In 2011, 462 passed the CHEM1101 exam out of 521 students - that's like ~8% failure rate.
In 2012, 714 passed the CHEM1101 exam out of 776 students - that's like ~8% failure rate.

In 2011, 406 passed the CHEM1001 exam out of 503 students - that's like ~19% failure rate.
In 2012, 421 passed the CHEM1001 exam out of 487 students - that's like ~14% failure rate.

The average failure rate would be like 10% if you include CHEM1001.
Thoughts on the failure rates?

Does this mean we won't see you around these parts anymore? :(

I shall hopefully see you when you graduate regardless yay
I know i am very excited!!

Not sure as to my involvement around here...probably not as much - see how it pans out. I'm just so glad its all going to be finally over. I have very much enjoyed uni, but 6.5 years is a little too long. I want to work/have money! :p

Nowhere on the stats paper does it specify that one must use a black or blue pen for completing the long response section of the paper. I am going to use purple. Violet, to be exact.

I used turquoise for calculus today
Because those colours are just too mainstream.
