These "ecom students doing acturial studies" will either:
a) fail dismally at university;
b) be unemployed because "I have Ecom degree in Acturial studies" will not go down well with an employers; or
c) all of the above.

And if they do get a job before I do, I'll join the Fraser bandwagon. ;)
Don't actuaries get paid a tonne?

Actuaries might get paid a tonne, but not acturies.

To summarise PwarYuex:

Course: Actuarial Studies
Occupation: Actuary
Incorrect terminology: actury, acturial, actuarials.

It's like saying: I'm studying Lawyer to become Laws. You sound stupid, especially those enrolled in Actuarial Studies. Everyone else is excused.

Hahah, thankyou.

I can't stop laughing now. Ever since cyan made the "I'll eat my hat" remark, I've lost it.

No, but I stood on a stool today, and yelled "Please, everyone, know your course numbers beforehand" or something.

The people I was working with gave me a weird look, then realised that I know what's happening.

BBA250 has been updated by the look of the ad's on campus... probably easiest to buy them from the coop or text in the city while they are having their sales.

-edit
okay guys ive did my research
bba250
co op - 99.95 (before reductions)
texts in the city - 74.95
wouldnt suppose anyone would have a better deal for me?

accg253
co op - 104.95
tic - 72.70

would it be safe to presume that i should just save myself the trouble and buy them brand new?

Hmm, $155.55AUD from Co-Op and i get them in hand or $124.85AUD ($83.20USD minus the Arrian book which ill buy from Co-Op) if i buy using Amazon but i have to wait a few weeks for them.
Probably going to that new shop near MQ and checking out their prices see if i can get a cheaper deal.

No one would happen to have

Arrian - Campaigns of Alexander
M M Austin - The Hellenistic World from Alexander to the Roman Conquest
R Denyer - Guitar Handbook
Bosworth - Conquest and Empire

would they ?
