Does anyone have any good suggestions for SHORT powerplay supp texts?

such as poems, song lyrics, paintings...

Rage against the Machine's Bullet in the Head is very, very good to use. Especially with relation to 1984 (if that's the prescribed text you're using). Easy to talk about technique, easy to discuss issues with relation to other texts, and it has strong things to say about the dangers of power and powerplay (a very common argument in essays).

I also use Shakespeare's Othello, but that's considerably longer than what you're looking or.
