I know this forum's kind of dead, but I was hoping someone might be able to help with a quick question.

Suppose we got asked to describe the steps in developing our food product.

I'm aware that to get full marks, you have to list all 7 steps. But in our assignment we omitted "feasibility studies", so I don't know what I would write for that as a step.

What sort of things are you meant write for feasibility studies considering we aren't food manufacturers?

Thanks to anyone who answers.

Fesability studies refer to both technical and financial fesability
Technical: whether the manufacturer can do it with the equipment they have or whether they have to buy new stuff and whether they need to teach the staff
Financial: whether the product will make enough money for the company and stuff like that.
Hope that helps

yeah, technical is more internal stuff... so if the company has the facilities to do all the stuff it needs to, and financial also refers to the market, competition, whether or not it will reach the break even point or not... all that stuff...

food tech sucks.
