Re: The Official A-League Thread.

What bastards. He got 15 months, with 6 suspended.

Sure, we all know he did wrong. Heck, HE even knew he did wrong, thats why he ran away and ran off the field so quickly. He knew it was his emotions. He is an up-and-coming, and to rub him out for that long after he slapped the referee's wrist is nothing short of a joke.

FFA say they are "considering" about extending the ban to cover other representative duties. Talk about fucking overkill, jesus.

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

I feel sorry for the kid but, he hit a referee, everyone knows that's about the stupidest thing you can do on a sporting field.

Though i read he can play in november, which sounds about right. still gives him some games this year.

Should be 15 months, 8 suspended.

still over the top. 6 weeks (i.e. first 6 games of the season) sounds right to me.

Life sentence more like it,
His a gay cunt.
So is Aloisi, only thing good his ever done is put
Australia through to the world cup.
Petrovski should have got red for flicking the ref.
Joel Griffith played a shit game, Song was good, as well
as Bridgey.
There should have been punches thrown that would have
made first half more exciting.

SFC looking very likely to get Bridge and Aloisi. i'd like to hear other teams fans thoughts on this.

Well, whilst its sad to see Aloisi going, it was inevitable. CCM just couldn't keep him, so its not disappointing so to speak. As far as him going to SFC, im guessing its the money. CCM could only offer him around 1/3 of what Sydney were offering. Good luck to him, if the A-League can retain him, then its a win for all.

Bridge, Aloisi and Brosque. Pretty strong forward line. Brosque might have to play in midfeild sometimes.

Bridge will lose his way at Sydney ala Brockie. Aloisi is a decent get though.

Yeh i don't rate Bridge that much either tbh but at least we are getting some youth into the team, looks like we're keeping juninho too now so thats a positive.

I think brosque has been great for us. hes in the top 3 scorers pretty much every season. He just doesnt get decent service with our shitty midfield, its all long balls.

we need a decent defender though. Our backs are too slow.

I predict:

-----Bridge---------------Aloisi-----------------Brosque----

Play both Bridge and Brosque on the wings allowing them to cut back in and take shots with their preferred foot (which they've showed they are good at).

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

Just a quickie...
What do all other Jets fans (yes I'm still pumped after gaining the "toilet seat" lol, great for Newcastle football I say) think of Con Constantine constantly rejecting third party sponsor deals?? Do you think that he's just doing it for the sake of pride ar is he just being an idiot and will lose more players (a-la Bridge and Durante) cause of it? Just wanted a quick opinion...
