A rumour that's in circulation is that the UAI is ONLY dependent on your proformance in the HSC exam, is this true????

The rumour would be untrue. 50% of the marks which contribute towards your UAI come from the HSC Exam, but the other 50% comes from Internal Assessments.

Yes, 50% of your UAI comes from your internal assessment. But in turn this internal assessment performance is reflected upon everyone's performance in the HSC exam.

So typically, the HSC exam is the sole indicator of what type of Internal and external mark a student will achieve.

Not just on your performance, but everyone's performance.
