Hello everyone. I've nearly lost all hope for the HSC and the coming trials, but I think I shall try this and see. My target UAI in yr11 was to be 99.5 but this seems impossible now. Right now I hope to get in the 90s (hopefully high 90s so I have more choices), please help me by estimating what kind of marks/UAI I might get. :(

1) Biology : 65% : 9/28

2) Economics: 73%: 4/19:

3) English Advanced: 19/56 (we didn't get any marks in our report)

4) English Extension 1: 11/12 (see above)

5) English Extension 2 : 6/7 (see above)

6) Maths Extension 1: 64% : 7/24

7) Maths Extension 2: 54% : 6/12

8) Studies of Religion : 81% : 40/132

School Rank: I believe my school is not ranked very high, it merely made into the top 120 last year. -____-;

Additional Information: Last year there were not many people who got very high marks in my school but to my knowledge some people did get high marks. I know there's at least 10 or more people who got in the 90s and one who got 99.6 (or something like that).

I am planning to drop SOR after the trials (the only time we can drop it) and as everyone knows, English Extension 2 will be finish at the end of August. I am doing 13 units now but I will have less to do in the HSC exams.

I am doing badly in many of my subjects but as I've been told by my viva voce examiners I am ranked about 3rd in EE2 now, and my teacher seems to confirm this notion (we've finally finished our internal marking). This is my guess however and it may not be correct.

Help!

It's not just a prediction of UAI that I want to know, I am really seeking advice. With less than 100 days to go, I wonder if I will make it? Each day I am losing more hope and I haven't studied for the trials. I feel doomed. >__<

Any predictions of my UAI would be greatly appreciated. :uhhuh:

Don't be discouraged by your marks cause you haven't done your trials yet.

You ranks are ok i suppose, however, regetably they aren't going to get you 99.5

The importance is consistancy, I have seen many ppl drop off under the pressure of the trials/HSC. If you remain consistant you can significantly pick up your marks. my mid year english adv rank was 101/114, end of year was around 79/114.

so far your prolly looking at 90+, however hard to give exact prediction on mid term marks.

Any ideas for my possible UAI?

Hey, with how I'm going now, what do you suppose my UAI could be?

English Advanced - 65/100 - 11/47 (Ranking)
Mathematics - 66/100 - 21/38
Hospitality - 80/100 - 2/24
Chemistry - 72/100 - 6/14
Music 1 - 70/100 - 1/4 (Although the marking was REALLY rough)
Business Studies - 71/100 - 9/32

Just a rough estimate would be greatly appreciated.
Ta!

Why does it matter where I put it? All I'd be doing would be creating another thread, and clogging up to board. I thought it would be better if I just attached it here, rather than wasting space.

Just improve as much as possible. Everyone should be aiming for a UAI of 100 - IE just do your best and try as hard as possible.

so if i try really hard now, before the trials (i've been studying for the last few days, well, i am trying my best), i can get into 90s?

hopefully i'll get 90s instead of 80s... :(

but thanks for everyone's predictions!
i'll take it with me that if i improve my marks in the trials, and the hsc, there might be hope left for me.

start a new thread
use SAM
I doubt they know how to put aligned marks into SAM
