Ahh crap, like a lot of hard maths or just a lot of math? The latter I can deal with, the former means hunting around early for a math god to attach to (like Integrand yaas?). Had a quick skim over the topics in 1102 and most look like HSC economics (Fiscal, monetary, exchange rate, economic growth etc.) iirc didn't see too much math in HSC Eco, so I guess my question is: where does the math come in in 1102?

Is stats one of those subjects that become significantly harder in sem 2 (like FINS1613), or just one that becomes a little harder?

My mistake for ECON1102, I was thinking about ECON1202 sorry about that. Not much maths in ECON1102 only equations you have to memorise is all the maths you need along with differentiation. Stats is sorta similar to the situation with FINS1613 even though 1613 is getting harder in semester 1 to close that gap.

This is a question for anyone who has done PHYS1121/1131. Do the 1131 students get a bit of extra time in the exam to compensate for the extra questions that we have to do? Or is it just 2 hours for both 1121 and 1131?

i used the phrase 'pareto efficient outcome' about six times today

When getting laid is the pareto efficient outcome, I don't see how you couldn't have used it.

1141 alegbra is gay (mostly because it rewards you for remembering formulas/results). 1141 calculus is love. 1141 calculus is life.

Btw, how different semester 1 1231/1241 compared to semester 2? I don't think I can find a slot since everything is filled.

Kind of urgent. Anyone know where oaks marquee is at racecourse? Are there signs? Is it in a certain building?

Can I walk inside the racecourse entrance at gate 2, to the opp. side?? or do I have to walk outside along street?

You can only enter at the other side, do no stop at the uni, once you reach the racecourse its a tent and there will definitely be signs.

But I want to enter from gate 2 UNSW entrance, opp. Wondering if its possible to enter and walk through that way or I gotta walk via streets.

Either way I have to come from gate 2 UNSW.

I won't be on a bus, I live at gate 2 UNSW. Do you know if those buses go in the opp. direction, or anyone know buses from gate 2 UNSW to there? If not don't worry, I'll look it up tomorrow

I dont know about buses but assuming this is from UNSW village, most people walk to the racecourse via anzac parade and doncaster avenue roughly 10-15 minute walk.

Turn right when walking along Doncaster into Ascot street at the roundabout and check if the gate is open (I've only ever exited after exams this way and sometimes the fence latch is closed from the outside).

If for MATH1151 the people who get 60+/80 generally go on to getting an HD, then for MATH1141...
