Carslaw can be great or horrid depending on what's happening outside. I know of days where it was nasty since there was no AC inside, but you kinda get used to it eventually (I've had at least 1 class every semester in there for the past 5 semesters so maybe I'm biased). Lecture halls are fascinating, because there's entertainment in the desks if you're zoning out.
ABS has nicer whiteboards (try getting a tute there next sem!) and lecture halls, but it's AC'd a bit too efficiently
Education building is cool too, and it's close to Manning as well, but it's pretty popular for those reasons
John Wolley is ok, but the lighting and stairs combined with distance from other facilities is a bit of a downer.
Mereweather is a lot like Carslaw lecture theatres, but with better AC
Nanoscience/Physics Hub is probably the best classroom/lecture theatre, but the only negative is you can't eat in there
Can't go without mentioning the Quad - it's cool for the aesthetic but they should have clearer instructions to get to classes, and reception can be a bit crass in the higher levels. Great for exams tho.
Tl;dr- aim for classes in the newer buildings if you like nicer facilities, but you will live if you can't score any classes there (my negatives aren't complete dealbreakers afaik)
ur being generous with John woolly I've had the unfortunate displeasure of having lecs in there and it's not great
carslaw is amazing in comparison - as u mentioned the lighting and location sucks, no charging ports or a/c but the worst part is the way the seats/tables are set up, like the tables have a weird slant so like I have to really sit up if I wanna see over my laptop at the board doesn't help that I'm short
can't relax in my seat at all in John wooley 0/10

New question: anyone caught the shuttlebus? I never see it and I'm starting to think it's not real
the uni bus? it's real you can check out the timetable and routes online
I only catch it with my lazy friends who can't walk to redfern

I have seen the route, but it says it stops at different points around campus (but it never happens)
Regardless, I just walk it because it seems too much of a hassle to wait it out

I see... I only had 2 classes there in 1st year but at that point I made sure my laptop was well charged prior to that point
Also no power points in the Quad rooms is more of a crime than John Wolley tbh (maybe that's me being cynical of the touristy area of campus)

tbh I barely notice the difference between lecture halls other than like slightly less comfortable seats in some and desks with more drawings on them

I only notice if its EXTRA uncomfortable and john wooley is exactly that, the desks have tons of drawings too but that's fine if anything it looks cool

some random guy walked up to me and asked if i hate* capitalism and i didnt wanna look at his face so i said no😭
lmaooo socialists are so chill I agree with them wholeheartedly but not the movement itself
like I don't think a world run by socialists would be any better than capitalists

I didn't see where the jewish club was
but the liberals were being loud asf
LOL it was actually evil of usu to put labor and liberal across from each other tho so good

all the religious clubs were like at the very end on the grass outside the quad like facing the stage
