well a case study doesnt have to be a formalised story type thing.. it can just be a bunch of observations and interviews (or articles if its on someone you dont know.. for example i did a case study on a family that had septuplets) that are shoved into your appendix.. and you can just refer to them when necessary (for example when comparing your survey results to other information you can say this is different to my case study on parramattas homeless individuals as shown in appendix blah)
i think in my report i did include a page summary of my case study just who they were and what i found out about them but my teacher said if it was in the appendix it wouldnt have mattered just as long as i had the info there somewhere and referred to it.. it was all good
